Cellulose are made of glucose

Other monosaccharides (including glucose)

Cellulose is the structural material for the primary cell wall in plants.

Cell wall is the outer layer of plants that maintains the cell's shape and protects the cell from mechanical damage. Cell walls are made of cellulose, and other polysaccharides and proteins which provide the sturdiness of the structure.

There maybe three layers in the cell wall:

-Primary cell wall: thin and flexible and extends as the cell grows

-Secondary cell wall: not found in all cell walls, but it is thick and it strengthens the wall and keep it waterproof

-Middle lamella: outermost layer made of pectin and keeps cells together
