Enzymes are mostly proteins, some are catalytic RNA molecules. Enzymes are complex globular proteins of secondary or tertiary structures, with a binding site for the substrates which also may have a site for cofactor (non protein) to bind. Cofactors can be organic such as vitamins or inorganic such as metal ions.

Protein Structures

Lysosomes are membranous sac of hydrolytic enzymes that animal cells use to digest all kinds of macromolecules (phagocytosis) and recycle the cell's own organic material (autophagy).
Phagocytosis →  Food vacuole fuses with lysosome, hydrolytic enzymes digest food particles.
Autophagy →  Lysosome fuses with vesicle containing damaged organelle and enzymes digest organelle components.
